About the Program
The Professional Pilot Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree at Tarrant County College is a comprehensive program designed to prepare students for careers as professional pilots. This FAA-approved Part 141 program offers a blend of rigorous academic coursework and practical flight training, providing students with the knowledge, skills, and certifications necessary to succeed as a professional pilot. Students progress through various flight ratings, from private pilot to commercial pilot, and may also obtain an instrument rating and certified flight instructor (CFI) certification.
