    Airspace management is a big part of making sure planes maintatin a safe distance from each other while in-flight or even on the ground. Managing airspace takes place in many different locations such as air traffic control towers (ATCT) , terminal radar approach control (TRACON) facilities and air route traffic control centers (ATCC).     Air Traffic Controller - Air traffic controllers’ immediate concern is safety, but they also must direct planes efficiently to minimize delays. They manage the flow of airplanes in and out of the airport, guide pilots during takeoff and landing, and monitor airplanes as they travel through the skies.
