    About the Program

    The Aviation Maintenance Science degree will train graduates to be successful aircraft technicians. Becoming successful in the field of aircraft maintenance requires both a knowledge of the fundamentals of aircraft systems and extensive technical training.

    The degree is built on the basics of the Airframe & Powerplant curriculum and students will gain practice on high-tech aviation equipment. Graduates are masters at welding, metalwork, reciprocating engines, turbine engines, propellers, fuel systems, electricity, machining, and more.
