About the Program
The Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management at Texas A&M University-Central Texas provides a comprehensive background in aviation studies, management and business to prepare students for airport and diverse general aviation-related roles. The comprehensive coursework includes instruction in airport safety, marketing & advertising, preparing for and managing disasters, public and crisis communications, and more. It also includes pilot background courses and instruction on why airports take some of the actions they take.
Our fully online program allows you to soar in your career from home or the nearby cafe-anywhere with Internet access. The program offers 36 hours of junior and senior-level coursework that is highly desirable for a broad range of employers. Aviation Management students build leadership and professional experience through real-world experience and exciting class projects.
The B.S. in Aviation Management is also offered with a concentration in maintenance. The Maintenance Concentration is designed for aircraft maintainers and builds leadership and maintenance management skills for greater opportunities in their career progression.
