About the Program
The Aviation Maintenance Technology: Airframe AAS program covers topics such as basic electricity, aircraft structures, hydraulics, landing gear systems, and aircraft inspections. Students learn techniques for inspecting, troubleshooting, and servicing aircraft structures, systems, and components to FAA standards. Graduates will be eligible to take the FAA Airframe Mechanic certification exams and pursue careers maintaining and repairing fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft.
