About the Program
The Aviation Institute of Maintenance offers two courses for unmanned aircraft operations:
- Introduction to Unmanned Aviation exposes students to key aspects of the UAS industry and prepares students for the FAA UAS aeronautical test or recurrent test for former military UAS operators.
- UAS Operator Training teaches students basic and advanced airmanship skills with a focus on photography mission planning and execution that can be applied to agriculture, real estate, and infrastructure inspection jobs.
Each course takes place over 2 days (4 days total for both courses). Check out the Net Price Calculator for the estimated price of completing AIM programs. More information such as course dates, policies, prior training requirements, or other prerequisites can be found here.
