About the Program
The Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) program at the Aviation Institute of Maintenance is designed to teach the knowledge and skills needed to excel as an aircraft mechanic. This training prepares you to pass the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) test to become a certified Airframe and Powerplant Technician for employment in aviation maintenance. Areas of instruction include Aviation General Sciences, Aircraft Systems, Airframe Assembly and Inspection, Powerplant Systems and more.
