Managing airspace takes place in many different locations such as air traffic control towers (ATCT) , terminal radar approach control (TRACON) facilities and air route traffic control centers (ATCC). They manage the flow of airplanes in and out of the airport, guide pilots during takeoff and landing, and monitor airplanes as they travel through the skies.
